Hey lovelies! In today's post I wanted to talk about some products I've been using in the summer months to help and protect my skin from the sun. Having used all three SPF's for around two months now (and one week in 40 degree heat) I feel happy enough to recommend them to you lovely lot and I hear we are due another heat wave in England this month so if you are in need of restocking or re-substituting your SPF collection, hopefully this post will help!
This has been one of my most used products this summer because it's benefits extend far beyond just sun protection. On application this lotion immediately makes you look a little more tan giving your skin a gorgeous glow from extracts of walnut leaf. And it also works really well as an aftersun due to its ingredients of cocoa butter and aloe vera. The only downside is its SPF factor of 10, but as I only use this on the body and also because of my skin tone, it works fine for me and also because of its size you can pop it in your handbag and quickly and easily apply it wherever you are!
I have been on the hunt for an organic face SPF that comes in a spray form for soooo long, and so finding this was an absolute god send. This mist spray has an SPF of 30 and it also acts as a makeup setting spray which means you can go about your day to day life not having to worry about ruining your makeup when re-applying this product....hallelujah! Unfortunately this product is hard to get hold of in the UK compared to the USA and Europe, but the link I've added above is from the same eBay shop I used and they were really fast on delivery!
Who doesn't love the Vitamin-E range from the Body Shop? This lip balm is pocket sized and super silky to apply, it has an SPF of 15 and long lasting power, I've been using this daily since April and still have half of the stick left. An absolute must purchase!
The only thing missing from my sun care collection is a hair protector! If any of you know any good organic hair products/masks that are great for sun aftercare, please leave suggestions below!
Thank you for reading and enjoy the rest of your summer!
