Last week I jetted off for a mid week break to Rome with the family. It was my first visit to the City and despite the weather averaging at a ridiculous 38 degrees everyday... I had a wonderful time! I was completely balled over by the sheer volume of relics that could be found on every street corner, you can feel the history of the ancient city in the air - and kudos to the government for preserving and celebrating that to this day.
I can't wait to visit the city again, there is still so much left to discover!
Rome is such a beautiful city! The weather sounds amazing and I hope you had lots and lots of italian food (I'm italian hihi) :p

I loved Rome when I went there in August in the past before. It was sooooo hot but so amazing to experience! You look like you really had the chance to enjoy it as well!
