Taking Time Out: Matcha Tea + Discount Code!

I'm a Yorkshire lass through and through and so the importance of tea has been drummed into me from birth.
It's become even more important nowadays as I find a moment of bliss within my hectic schedule when I make a cup of tea. Also, tea has serious healing qualities, from mending a broken heart to aiding a shitty period, tea has always been there to lend a warm hug.
So when it comes to the different varieties of teas, I have experimented over the years. I used to drink your standard breakfast tea (builders style of course, I am northern after all aint got no time for too much milk or sugar in me brew) then I was converted to green tea, but now, I am aaaall about matcha!

Matcha is a concentrated form of green tea that has unbelievable health benefits including:
  • Energy boosting qualities
  • Improved learning performance
  • Immune system support
  • Increased metabolism
  • Youthful looking skin

The list goes on and on! This stuff is seriously good for you and having used it as part of my daily routine for now a week, I have noticed an instant difference within my energy levels....which as a student is always beneficial! I got mine from Teapigs and have used lots of their products before, so can wholeheartedly recommend them as a brand, especially as all their teas are organic.

What's even better, you can now get 20% off any of their Matcha products by using the code
'matcha15' so now you have the perfect excuse to go and try it!

Have any of you tried Matcha before? Would you now be interested in trying it? Let me know below or tweet me at @dimplesdiaries

Thanks for reading!

  2. Matchaaaaaaaaaaa. Favourite flavour of drinks, I adore green tea lattes. And adding matcha to cakes and other things I bake. Although pure green tea in teabag form also contains many of the properties of concentrated matcha powder! Teapigs are such a lovely company!

  5. Oh goodness I love tea! I've try and drink fruit teas as much as possible but I never particularly like the taste. I'm certain it'll happen eventually but in the mean time I think some Green Teas is in order for my shopping list xx
