Books Are My Bag - An Ode to the Humble Book!

BAG: Books Are My Bag designed by Tracey Emin | SHOES: Second Hand | SCARF: Vintage | WATCH: Olivia Burton | TOP: Seasalt Cornwall | SKIRT & COAT| Old

I always enjoy having my head stuck in a book. Fiction or non-fiction, I have a hunger for learning new things, a hunger for exploring and dreaming...and the one place I can do that, no matter what time of day, no matter where I am in the world, is within the pages of a book.

Lest we forget, the humble page turner and the cosy tea break companion. Let us celebrate the wondrous capsule to our imagination that teaches us to laugh, cry and ponder and to the shops big and small that supply them. This is my thank you letter to all books - those especially that have helped me these past few weeks in scrambling together my dissertation proposal! Books are my bag indeed!

Let me know in the comment box below your favourite book and your favourite place to read it !

  1. Fantastic outfit, perfect for winter! <3 You look gorgeous!

  2. I'm the same. I've always loved reading, and I'm such a bookworm. I've got too many favourite books to mention, but my favourite places to read are either in bed before sleeping, sitting on a park bench in the sun, or curled up in the sofa with a cup of tea.
Love your outfit, by the way!
