The Big Beauty Swap With Holland and Barrett

*Sponsored Post

As you all know I took to the decision of changing my consumer habits to be as ethical as possible at the start of the year. From clothing to beauty, I have been scouring far and wide to find brands and retailers that can help me on my journey. . . and it hasn't been easy. What I've found most difficult about about this, is replenishing the products I already have. It's both costly and time consuming, two things that majorly effect daily life! So when I found out about Holland and Barrett's 'Big Beauty Swap' I jumped for joy!

Five years ago Holland and Barrett banned all toiletries containing chemical preservatives, such as parabens and sodium laurel sulphate (SLS), as part of their public commitment to natural beauty products. These chemical nasties are found in many common beauty products and can cause irritation to the skin, mouth, eyes and scalp, many have also been linked to skin problems. So now, until Wednesday the 11th of June, Holland and Barrett are offering 25% off all beauty products in their 'Big Beauty Swap' campaign!

This is a fantastic chance for you to replenish products or to try new ones at a discounted price. You can also take in any old, empty or partly filled toiletries such as shampoo, shower gel and moisturisers to any national store and these will be recycled at the retailer's distribution plant! Some of my favourite picks from the sale are Australia Organics' shampoo and conditioner, Lavera's Mascara and powder, Burts Bees' intensive face mask and a guava scented roll on perfume by Pacifica.

From hair and body care, to makeup to beauty tools, there is a natural alternative to all your beauty needs and from prices starting at 86p, they're products that won't break the bank. Natural and affordable....what's not to love?!
