Styling Stripes for Summer With Courtney From Breakfast at Vogue

Stripes are one of my favourite styles to wear all year round, especially in Spring/Summer. They're so easy, effortlessly chic and can be dressed up or down - an all round style winner for me.

So this is my version of the perfect stripe summer outfit, basic jeans, a stripe t-shirt and a navy blazer. Simple, comfy and can be transformed with a  pair of heels to take the outfit into the night.

1. Why did you start your blog?

I too, was always into making scrapbooks and collages when I was younger and so this is kind of my grown up version. My friend and I actually started a blog a while back when we were around 13 but eventually stopped. When I was about 17-18 and decided that I wanted to have a career in fashion I brought back the blog to start kind of a portfolio, but now about a month or so ago, I just got more serious about blogging and I love it. 

2. What’s your favorite part of blogging?

I love hearing from people around the world, I think its so cool knowing that someone miles away is looking at you blog. I also love the feedback I get, everyone is so kind which is so awesome. 

3. Favorite style trend?

My favorite style trend at the moment I think is the overall trend which is funny because in the 90’s I hated wearing overalls but my mom would make me. Now I love them and I’m dying to get a pair! 

4. Any trend you wish would go away?

Uggs. I know its not really a trend anymore but I just hate them. 

5. What’s your go to outfit when running out the door?

Definitely some ripped jeans, black booties, flowy white top and my army jacket, or any jacket really. Super simple but still looks put together.
