In 2010, Aaron Jones met Bopha Yung, the two friends shared mutual distress that some children in the world don't have the right to education like others. So, after a chance meeting at a night market in Cambodia, Bopha offered Aaron the opportunity to have his designs made from recycled materials and thus, Fikay was born!
Fikay empowers and employs families in poverty stricken areas to learn new crafts and skills, they also encourage families to start their own businesses.Working alongside the charities Anjali House and Mustard Seed, Fikay build schools and recycle the building waste "completing the cycle."
As well as this brands wonderful ethics, their products really are absolutely charming, I love my new iPad case and how much of a positive item it is, every time I look at it, I remember what amazing work Fikay are doing and how much happiness they are spreading across the world . . . which makes them a pretty cool company huh?
What do you think of Fikay? Let me know below, or tweet me @dimplesdiaries and Fikay @fikayecofashion

This sounds so lovely, what a great brand! They seem to produce such wonderful products just by looking at the ipad case (which drew me in due to being a HUGE fan of elephants) and by helping those less fortunate to learn new skills it just sounds so amazing, they really are doing some fantastic work
