scarf&top&skirt&rings&necklace - VINTAGE
Yesterday I hopped on a train with my friends to see some exhibitions in London. Our first point of call was the Fashion Textile Museum, to see the Artist Textiles exhibition. If you're a pattern and art freak like me, you will love it. You'll want to wear everything, hug everything and live there. I could have quite contently spent the rest of my day there absorbing in more of the beautiful artifacts on offer (amongst them designs by Picasso, Dali and Warhol), but my hunger was calling to be fed.
We then headed off for lunch and walked to the Tate because modern art should always be viewed with a full tummy, then had a long walk around London taking in the sights by night, before heading for coffee and cake and eventually Waterloo.
All in all t'was a lovely day, if anyone's planning a trip to London soon and wanting some fashionable culture indulgence, I would push you straight in the direction of the Artist Textiles exhibition, it is not just a feast for the soul, but a feast for the eyes!

I love your hint of gold accessories in your outfit. I'm in love with patterns (oh darn you William Morris), and when they're transfered to different textures its amazing. Sounds like a silly obsession. Hope you did have fun, I don't think theres any exhibitions like that in Sydney.

It's definitely not a silly obsession I am just as obsessed with you and that exhibition tipped me over the edge, I was like a kid in a candy shop haha! That's a shame! Hopefully something similar will pop up!
